Primary School 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Central Southport
Location: Central Southport Primary School
Salary: From £85 per day
Start Date: November 2025 / As soon as possible
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the heart of Southport, providing 1:1 support to a child who needs a little extra help to reach their potential.
This is a rewarding, long-term role where you'll make a genuine difference every single day, supporting a child's learning, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

What You'll Be Doing
✅ Working closely with a pupil on a 1:1 basis, following the teacher's guidance
✅ Supporting learning, focus, and confidence both inside and outside the classroom
✅ Using patience, encouragement, and creativity to help the child succeed
✅ Assisting with daily routines and contributing to a positive classroom atmosphere

About You
* Previous experience supporting children with additional needs (preferred but not essential)
* Calm, caring, and resilient personality
* Able to build trust and positive relationships
* Comfortable following teacher direction and adapting support as needed
(Teaching Assistant qualifications are welcome but not essential - training and guidance will be provided for the right person.)
