Job Description Make your mark as ROC ROV Supervisor (Onshore) at Boskalis Subsea Services in Aberdeen. You will be accountable for the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of remotely operated subsea tasks from the Boskalis Remote Operations Centre (ROC). This leadership role involves supervising ROC-based ROV pilots and senior pilots, coordinating live operations with offshore vessel teams, and ensuring that all activities are executed in line with project plans, regulatory requirements, and company procedures. As the primary operational focal point during real-time remote ROV missions, the Supervisor provides technical guidance, ensures mission readiness, oversees shift performance, and escalates any operational risks or anomalies. The role is safety-critical and aligned with IMCA C005 Job Category R01 – ROV Supervisor. Competence must be demonstrated and maintained in accordance with the Boskalis Subsea Services Competence Management Scheme. Your responsibilities as a ROC ROV Supervisor: The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to; Lead, coordinate, and supervise all ROC ROV activities during assigned shift operations, ensuring safe and effective execution. Oversee the piloting and remote operation of Work-Class and light Work-Class ROV systems including associated tooling and sensors to support the safe and efficient execution of inspection, survey, maintenance, and light intervention scopes. Ensure operational compliance with project work packs, client specifications, company procedures, and applicable IMCA guidance. Act as the primary operational liaison between the ROV Remote Operations Centre and offshore vessel teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication. Manage real-time team scheduling, task delegation, and shift handovers within the ROC environment. Review and approve mission execution plans, pre-dive virtual checklists, system readiness verifications, and operational reporting documentation. Monitor ROV system status, telemetry, and live video feeds; coordinate with offshore technicians for real-time diagnostics and issue resolution.
