Job Summary

As a CDP, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and served promptly.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
* Assist in the planning and execution of daily specials and menu changes.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
* Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is required.
* Experience in meal preparation, including portion control and presentation skills.
