The Planet Group have recently been engaged by a market leader in the Aerospace industry who are looking for a Production & Demand Planner to join the team on an initial 6-12 month contract. Duties & Responsibilities: * Monitoring inventory – stock level and release orders on Planner Workbench accordingly. * Support the Operations Manager on tasks with Manufacturing site in Japan. * Support Procurement Manager on Suppliers and Purchase Order tasks. * Track and drive production orders to ensure OTD to end customers. * Release production job orders to support UK Production start dates as well as validating that all parts were allocated correctly to the given job orders. * Ensure job orders are corrected in a timely manner each week to minimise aging work orders. * Facilitate expedited material of critical part shortages to released work orders. * Liaison to Stores to unsure understanding of daily ship schedules. * Liaison between Operations Manager, Procurement Manager and Production Team * Support inventory cycle counting, reduction, accuracy initiatives as required. * Support with Forecast activities. * Relevant and current experience on ERP Cloudsuite * Perform other duties as assigned.
