The Firm
Wiseman Consulting Limited is working with a great multi-office High Street firm that is going through a period of modernisation. We are assisting in the search for a Practice Manager / Practice Management Assistant to help support the Director team with a wide range of responsibilities.
The firm has been in operation since the 1950s after a successful merger, which saw two firms join forces to become what they are today. They have 12 employees operating from three offices, practice in Private Client, Residential, and Commercial Conveyancing, and have a specialist Polish language desk.
The firm is undergoing promotions and a changeover in its IT and CRM systems and has identified that a Practice Manager / Practice Management Assistant will be required on a full-time basis to achieve its goals.

This role is open to graduates with a Law degree looking to get their first experience as a practice manager in the legal sector. We are also open to HR Assistants, Office Managers and Compliance candidates seeking further expertise in this field.
The role will offer guaranteed progression to the Practice Manager as part of the leadership team.
The Role
We are looking for a Practice Manager or Practice Management Assistant to join this friendly and growing team of Lawyers in the Cotswold/Wiltshire region.
The role of the Practice Manager will be varied and exciting, with no two days being the same. The responsibilities are split across assisting directors, office management and involvement with future growth plans.
Assisting Directors.
* Creating and drafting up-to-date policy (SRA standard)
* Implementing new procedures such as staff training
* Budget preparation and financial reports
* Setting up and maintaining calendars for formal meetings
Office Management
* Assisting accounts with supplier contracts
* Manage external recruitment enquiries.
* Enforcing office policy across three offices
* IT point of contact between IT suppliers and Staff
* Updating supplier contacts
Minimum Requirements
* High knowledge and understanding of IT systems.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Understand how a limited company business operates (highly beneficial)
