Job Description
Looking for a Personal Assistant who is outgoing, confident and understanding to help support a young gentleman with autism, Asperger's, ADHD, anxiety, and depression in increasing his confidence, getting out into the community, and completing household tasks.
He loves gaming, going for walks, and is interested in trying new hobbies such as going to the gym or swimming.
Responsibilities
* Support the individual with day-to-day tasks and routines.
* Promote independence and help build confidence in personal care and household chores.
* Ensure medication is taken correctly and manage medication schedules.
* Plan and prepare meals.
* Assist with general household tasks.
* Support the individual in getting into the community socially, including joining social clubs.
* Help with using public transport (e.g., bus) to increase confidence in traveling independently.
Required Training
* Medicine training (Diabetes).
Hours and Compensation
20 hours per week, spread across 4 days (5 hours a day, weekends included).
£13 per hour for employed Personal Assistants, £15.60 per hour for self‑employed Personal Assistants.
