Job Title: Clerical Services Administrator

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 0830-1700
Location: MoD Corsham, Building 420, Corsham, Wiltshire, England, SN13 9ET
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive personnel support to all staff at Ministry of Defence Corsham, including Lodger Units and associated communities, to ensure the efficient running of JSAU.
* Support personnel management, training, security, medical, dental, and chaplaincy services; carry out a range of administrative and auditing duties.
* As the SJAR Clerk: raise and dispatch SJARs and NSARs within required deadlines, update and maintain SJAR registers, insert roles and responsibilities onto JPA, conduct quality assurance checks on appraisal reports, monitor outstanding reports, and action management checks; provide cover for the OJAR Clerk when required.
* As the CEA Clerk: maintain claimant records, check applications and supporting documentation for accuracy, ensure entitlement certificates are valid, resolve discrepancies through the appropriate chain of command, process claims within claim windows, maintain records, and authorise School Children Visits claims.
* As the Unit Expense Auditor Clerk: notify personnel of audits, ensure audits are completed on time, check receipts and supporting evidence, recover overpayments, maintain audit records and registers, update the JPA Authorisation Required List, void claims in exceptional circumstances when authorised, report anomalies or fraud, and carry out actions on management check reports.
* Use the JPA Arrivals Clerk function in view-only mode without affecting service personnel pay or allowances.

* High attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure, work to deadlines, and take ownership of workloads.
* Ability to contribute effectively as part of a team and perform additional tasks as requested by management.
