About this job
To escort patients within the Department chaperoning wherenecessary and be responsible for patient comfort and well being.
To assist in undressing and redressing of patients.
To assist patients to use toilet facilities as appropriate.
To assist patients on and off ultrasound table before and after procedures.
To communicate effectively with patients by listening to their concernsreassuring them by giving information and where appropriate eliciting andcommunicating information to other members of the Directorate team as appropriate.
To collect, collate and file patient documentations as required.
To input and retrieve patient information using the computerised radiology patient information system and the hospital information support system.
