Support Administrator
We are currently recruiting a Support Administrator to join a busy NHS hospital team based in Great Yarmouth. This is a fixed‑term role for 9 months, offering £14.00 per hour PAYE.
This role provides essential administrative support to clinical and non‑clinical teams, helping ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of hospital services.

Location: Great Yarmouth, NR31
Pay rate: £14.00 per hour (PAYE)
Start Date: 9th February 2026
Working pattern: Full‑time hours, 08.00-18.00, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to hospital departments
Manage correspondence, records, and electronic data accurately
Book appointments, meetings, and update internal systems
Support clinical teams with administrative tasks as required
Respond to internal and external queries in a professional manner
Ensure all work is completed in line with NHS policies, procedures, and GDPR requirements
Assist with reception or front‑of‑house cover when required
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative or office‑based role
Strong organisational and time‑management skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and accurate data entry
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
Professional communication skills and attention to detail
Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
Desirable Experience
Previous experience working within an NHS or healthcare setting
Familiarity with NHS administrative or patient systems (training will be provided if required)
