GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Grantham. This role is available for an immediate start on a supply basis, with the potential for a long-term position.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support the academic and personal development of pupils across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and helping every child achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of Primary Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Promote a culture of high expectations, curiosity, and resilience.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development.
* Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school policies.
Requirements of Primary Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education.
* Proven experience teaching in a UK primary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Effective classroom management and behaviour strategies.
* Adaptability, creativity, and a commitment to inclusive education.
* A current CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
