Working across multiple dealership sites for variety and challengeDuties of a Accounts Assistant:
Conduct bank reconciliations, including keying all bank transactions and allocating receipts and vehicle payments
Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
Manage supplier payments and statements, ensuring timely processing
Support the accounts team with diverse administrative and financial tasks
Maintain precise record-keeping and ensure compliance with company standards
Assist with month-end reconciliation and reporting tasks as requiredRequirements of a Accounts Assistant :
Proven experience in accounts or bookkeeping, ideally within a motor trade environment
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Confident in using computer systems, especially Excel
Good organisational and communication skills
Dependable and capable of working effectively within a team
Knowledge of motor trade accounting procedures is advantageous but not essentialThis Accounts Assistant role offers a competitive salary of £26,500 per annum and is based at the Bury dealership site, with a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.
