Our groups provide a welcoming and supportive space for people affected by dementia to engage in activities, socialise with others, and get support and information.
As a Group Facilitator Volunteer, you’ll support the administration and running of the group by coordinating and facilitating activities, welcoming attendees, and maintaining attendance records. You will assist with setting up and tidying the venue, as well as encouraging participation in activities. There may be opportunities to facilitate sessions independently, as needed.
This role is specifically to support our Padiham Singing for the Brain group, which meets weekly on Tuesdays at Padiham Town Hall, Burnley Road, Padiham BB12 8BL. Volunteers should be available from 12.45 pm to 3 pm.
