A well-established engineering business in New Milton is looking to add an experienced CNC Turner to its team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner who can confidently programme, set, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls within a precision engineering environment. If you're a hands-on CNC Turner who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality components, this role offers stability, a supportive team, and consistent workshop work.
Key Responsibilities
* Programme, set, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
* Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Carry out first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment
* Adjust offsets and programmes to maintain accuracy and quality
* Ensure machines are running efficiently to meet production requirements
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner
* Ability to programme, set, and operate CNC lathes
* Experience working with Fanuc controls
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desirable Experience
* Experience working in a precision engineering environment
* Knowledge of tight tolerances and varied materials
* Experience in a production-focused workshop
