Can you make a difference? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support a young male teenager with ADHD and Autism.
Responsibilities
* Act as a mentor and provide support to build confidence and promote independence.
* Support to create and maintain social connections and promote regular social and leisure activities.
* Establishing a routine; some personal care will be required.
* Engage in activities the person enjoys (sports, Autism-friendly cinema, video games).
Qualifications
* Caring nature and outgoing personality.
* Experience in working with children, teenagers and young adults with ASD/ADHD is essential.
* Full, clean valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle is required.
Details
Part-time position during term time: 6 hours per week; non-term time: 10 hours per week. Hourly rate £12.21. 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
