Job Title: Funding and Audit Manager (Further Education)
Location: Manchester - Hybrid role
Salary: up to 50,000 (Depending on skills and experience)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Duties Include:
1. To lead our clients' administrative functions, ensuring compliance with audit, quality, and contractual requirements.
2. Maintain high standards across funding processes, data management, and internal audits.
3. Lead a team of 3 Managers responsible for MIS, ASF, Skills Bootcamps processing, administration, and funding claims.
4. Supervise an internal audit team conducting audits across government-funded contracts.
5. Oversee PDSAT checks, ensuring timely completion and collaboration across teams.
6. Produce regular reports for senior leadership on compliance standards and audit risk.
7. Deliver internal training on funding rules, compliance standards, and administrative best practices.
8. Participate in self-assessment, external inspections, and verification processes.
Essential Criteria:
* Proven experience in a similar funding, audit, or compliance role within government-funded education or skills contracts.
* Experience with audits and MIS related to government-funded skills.
* Ability to liaise effectively with employers and external agencies to secure repeat business.
* Evidence of meeting strict deadlines and targets.
* Excellent analytical skills.
