Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:
* Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
* Assist the teacher in delivering individualised education plans
* Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Support students with personal care and emotional well-being
* Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor student progress
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
* Relevant SEN qualifications or experience
Education:
Level 2 or higher qualification in Teaching Assistance or Special Education
Experience:
Prior experience working with children with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of different learning styles and needs
* Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Empathy and patience when working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
* First Aid certification
* Mental Health First Aid training
Working Conditions:
* Work hours may vary based on school schedules
* Requires standing, walking, and assisting students throughout the day
* May involve working with students who have challenging behaviours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
