Do you have a passion for helping vulnerable people enjoy as much fulfilment as they can and feel included in their community? If compassion, care and inclusiveness are important to you, our roles may be a good fit. Our Turning Point Scotland Services in South Lanarkshire, based in Cambuslang, are looking for individuals to provide support to adults with diverse needs, either one-on-one or in a team. The support is always person-centred, involving family, friends, health and social care professionals, advocacy services, and staff.

We value respect, compassion, inclusion, and integrity. We offer full support in your application process.

About the Service:

The South Lanarkshire Alcohol & Other Drugs REACHOUT Service works within the Alcohol & Drug Partnership to support individuals over 16 with problematic alcohol & drug use through Assertive Outreach and Intensive Case Management. The service targets three groups:

* Individuals who do not engage at any level
* Individuals who sporadically engage, making outcomes difficult to achieve
* Individuals who partially engage, focusing on medical treatment

Our goal is to support recovery using harm reduction approaches, involving families and communities to reduce stigma, and increase engagement and retention. The service operates flexibly across South Lanarkshire, including evenings and public holidays, in partnership with existing services like CAReS teams and The Beacons.

As a Lead Practitioner, you will work with individuals with various support needs, providing practical and emotional support, encouraging achievement of personal goals related to safety, activities, community involvement, health, relationships, and well-being.

IT skills are required for all roles. Successful candidates may need to register with the SSSC within 6 months.

We value lived experience; click here to learn more about our views.

* 29 eLearning courses
* Funded SVQ Social Services and Healthcare qualification
* Internal promotion opportunities
* Pension scheme with 4% employer contribution
* Family-friendly policies
* 35 days holiday including public holidays

This position does not require a UK driving licence or access to a vehicle. It does not involve personal care, cooking, or housekeeping tasks, nor are service users involved in these processes.
