What Youll Be Doing
* Oversee all electrical engineering activity across the southern region ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
* Support the delivery of major sustainability and innovation projects, including the electrification of plant fleets and recycled materials technology.
* Partner with site and unit managers to drive performance enhancement, energy efficiency, and long-term electrical asset planning.
* Lead audits, VFL (Visible Felt Leadership) activities, and ensure all engineering activities align with Holcims Environmental & Safety Management System (ESMS).
* Support the planning and budgeting of shutdowns, new installations, upgrades and preventative maintenance strategies.
* Mentor and coach local electrical teams and contractors, building a strong network of capable engineers across the region.
What Youll Bring
* Strong commercial acumen with a sharp eye for cost-saving opportunities and performance enhancement.
* A natural leader, able to manage people, projects, and priorities across multiple sites.
* Technical expertise in electrical systems (HV/LV), installations, inspections, and compliance.
* Understanding of strategic planning, budgeting, and asset lifecycle management.
* Confidence to challenge the status quo, drive new initiatives and represent Holcims vision in the field.
* Familiarity with working in highly regulated, safety-first environments.
