The Alternative Provision Leader plays a vital role in re-establishing high expectations of behaviour in school by creating an aspirational ethos in an onsite alternative education provision, ensuring a strong commitment to safeguarding young people and the school’s mission statement, enabling all to achieve success
Amongst other duties, you will assist with:
1. Targeted early specialist intervention with the primary aim of re-integrating students back into the mainstream school community
2. Supporting the school in reducing the number of students progressing to using external alternative provision
3. Planning and delivering a targeted curriculum focussing primarily on core academic strands alongside restorative workshops to support changes in behaviour
37 hrs/week term time (+ 5 training days)
8.00am - 4.00pm (8.00am - 3.30pm Friday only)
with 30 minutes for lunch per day
