As 3D Mid-weight Designer you will be working in the heart of the design department reporting to the 3D Lead You will work closely with a Creative 3D Lead/Design Director working on extremely varied projects to develop solutions that translate a client’s brief into a full brand experience. You will also work closely with designers from other disciplines and Production Managers as a team to achieve this.
Key Responsibilities
1. Becoming instrumental in designing everything from exhibition stands, stage sets and other 3D environments
2. Bringing creative ideas and responses to all projects undertaken
3. Becoming part of a team to work on projects from conception through to delivery
4. Briefing other designers including 2D and 3D freelancers, in order to manage busy periods of workload. In these situations, you will be required to maintain the creative solution that you have developed in conjunction with the Creative Lead
5. Liaising with suppliers such as set and exhibition constructors
6. International travel to event locations may be a requirement of this role.

14. You are able to work with speed on projects with firm milestones and deadlines, whilst at all times maintaining the highest level of detail and adhering to the standards and processes set out within the department
15. You have the ability to step into a project at any stage and quickly assess the requirements and skills needed

Your Background, Skills & Experience
17. Strong design skills to translate the client’s requirements into 3D solutions
18. Strong skills in 3D package Vectorworks and SketchUp are essential
19. Great communication and team-working skills
20. Good presentation skills for internal, client and pitch presentations
21. Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
22. An understanding of technical, health and safety requirements of event space planning
23. Knowledge of Adobe CS and visualisation / rendering packages such as 3ds Max, Cinema 4D and/or Twinmotion is an advantage
24. A minimum of 3 years + studio experience
25. Extensive knowledge of creating floor-plans and designing large scale events is essential
26. Experience working in a high paced and demanding studio
27. Solid practical knowledge to develop all aspects of a project from floor planning to design detailing
