You'll gain hands-on experience with procurement, supply chain, and data management processes, all within a supportive organisation that values continuous improvement and professional growth.

Your responsibilities in this role include:

Ensure material availability for assigned projects or commodities, while minimising inventory, cost, and work-in-progress (WIP).
Collaborate closely with Planning, Warehousing, Operations, Projects, and Engineering to ensure accurate, complete, and timely material supply.
Work with production planners to determine material requirements and share forward load plans with suppliers.
Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, including order placement, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and escalation when necessary.
Execute purchase requisition to purchase order process and support implementation of commodity strategies set by Strategic Procurement.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics/warehousing teams to optimise just-in-time delivery and improve vendor delivery and quality performance.
Proactively identify and flag material supply risks or shortages, ensuring early corrective action.
Track and expedite overdue items, resolving issues when stock does not arrive as expected.
Provide feedback to stakeholders on missing or inaccurate data and contribute to improving data accuracy to reduce material order errors.

Apply if you have most of the following:

Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present data clearly and concisely.
Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands with tenacity.
Proven experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Operations within a manufacturing environment.
Solid knowledge of procurement processes, including P2P, ERP, and MRP systems (ERP data management essential).
Strong numeracy and data management skills, with proficiency in Excel.
Degree in Engineering, Business, or another technical field (or equivalent experience)
