Role: Non-Contentious Construction Associate (5–8 PQE) Practice Area: Non-Contentious Construction Fully remote I’m working with a top-tier Legal 500 firm that’s looking to appoint a Non-Contentious Construction Associate to its thriving Real Estate and Projects Group. With 5–8 years’ PQE under your belt, you'll play a pivotal role advising on high-value, strategically significant projects across a range of sectors — from energy and infrastructure to life sciences and commercial developments. What You’ll Be Doing Contract Expertise – Drafting and negotiating a wide range of standard form and bespoke construction and engineering agreements (JCT, NEC3/4, FIDIC, EPC, EPCM, FEED, etc.). Project Advisory – Advising on procurement strategies, risk mitigation, and overall project execution from planning to completion. Sector-Spanning Work – Supporting real estate and infrastructure developments across commercial, residential, energy, and public sector projects. Client-Facing Delivery – Collaborating with sponsors, developers, funders, and contractors to deliver tailored legal solutions. Practice Growth – Supporting wider team objectives and contributing to business development initiatives. What They’re Looking For UK-qualified solicitor with 5–8 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction law. Proven track record of advising on complex projects and drafting associated legal documentation. Deep understanding of procurement processes and project risk.
