This leadership role necessitates a strategic thinker who can analyze and optimize our current processes while also implementing new technologies and practices that enhance productivity and reduce costs. You will have a strong background in operations management, a deep understanding of injection molding, and proven experience in leading diverse teams to achieve operational excellence. As a key member of our management team, you will collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with our company goals and objectives Work with the wider management team to establish, lead and deliver business and operational improvement projects from concept to completion across multiple sites; Work across sites to drive process improvements, standardization, KPIs and one IPL Culture Coach and develop site management teams to deliver continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions. Lead from the front on health and safety campaigns and initiatives. Working with the EH&S community ensure all sites operate in accordance EH&S policies and procedures to safeguard the well-being of staff and visitors. Manage budgets, forecasts, and resources to optimize operational expenditures and drive profitability Analyze performance metrics and operational data to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making Provide regular, consistent, and transparent communication and interaction with the management team and as required ELT members about business activities, potential threats, opportunities, and recommended actions. Ensure strong communication between teams and cross functionally to facilitate exchange of information and to implement change and improvements. Support the management team to deliver fit for purpose operational structure, processes, and culture. Support the divisional operational strategy, safe operations, operating performance, capital deployment and growth initiatives. About You Experience and Skills Required Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management in manufacturing industry Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams and driving performance Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex operational challenges. In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
