If you have a genuine passion for helping disengaged and vulnerable learners, we want to hear from you!

This role is ideal for qualified SEN/SEND teachers who are eager to engage in 1:1 tutoring, using creative and trauma-informed approaches to enhance the educational journeys of our students.

What We Offer Our SEN/SEND Tutors:

*
Flexible Hours: Choose part-time or full-time hours that fit your schedule.

*
Remote Opportunities: Enjoy occasional online teaching assignments from the comfort of your home.

*
Professional Development: Access extensive CPD and upskilling opportunities, including the full Tes CPD suite.

*
Supportive Team: Work alongside a dedicated SEN/SEND Support Team to ensure every placement is a success.

*
Community Connection: Join our tutor community to share best practices, resources, and tips.

*
Impactful Work: Be part of a child-centered company committed to transforming support for vulnerable young people.

Your Role as a SEN/SEND Tutor:

* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.

* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.

* Utilize flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions that meet the unique needs of each student.

* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that foster educational and social-emotional growth.

* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.

What We’re Looking For:

* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).

* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.

* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional educational needs.

* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.

* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost).

* Two professional references.

* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

Employment Details:

* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.

* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.

* We do not guarantee a set amount of work or expenses coverage.

* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.

* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
