SEN Teaching Assistant
Propsero Teaching is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker who can support children in an SEN school in Bromley.
The school is for children aged KS3 with a wide range of learning difficulties including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) to Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). In addition to learning needs, some pupils also have complex medical needs.
Propsero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and caring individual who can support children on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. Personal care may be involved. Located in Bromley, the school is a short walk away from public transport.
The position is open to all experienced Teaching Assistants and support workers who have some experience in a similar role. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
Responsibilities
* Support children in a SEN school on a 1:1 basis or within small groups.
* Assist with personal care when required.
* Contribute to a safe, supportive learning environment and work with teaching staff to meet students’ needs.

* Hours: Full time, 8:20 am – 3:30 pm, Mon to Fri (term time only)
* Pay: GBP 80 to GBP 100 per day
Experience, Training and Qualifications
* 6 months experience in the UK
* Previous experience in a similar setting
* LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent and above is preferable
Eligibility
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years
