Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consulting Technology Engineer with strong IaC (Terraform, Python, REST API, CI/CD pipeline, GitHub, Rundeck) and AWS skills with experience of automating Network Configurations and experience of Network Infrastructure (Smart Hands). You will join our network team in Redhill, Surrey and be specialising in the design, deployment, maintenance and support of Travelers’ Wide Area Networks.
PLEASE NOTE: This opportunity will be based in our Redhill, Surrey office and operate on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week in the office.
As a Consulting Technology Engineer, you will be responsible for managing network connectivity services for Travelers’ Wide Area Network backbone, SD-WAN environment, offshore and onshore field offices, cloud network infrastructure, inter-business and cloud exchange colocation connections and on prem workloads in UK & North America based data centres. Responsibility of the position will require the ability to design, configure, deploy, test, troubleshoot and maintain the network components with a focus on code-based management to support connectivity requirements for 30,000+ employees and business partners, deliver enhancements, support a cloud network foundation and provide hands on support in local UK-based data centres or offices as needed.
