Latsco (London) Ltd., located in Central London (West End) and representing a fleet of Product and Crude Oil Tankers, LPG and LNG Carriers is looking to recruit a full time Insurance Assistant, reporting to the Insurance Manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
* Reviewing, checking, and processing in Document Management System insurance-related invoices, claims deductibles, insurance premiums (debits and credits) and ad hoc insurance costs as well as facilitating accounts and keeping Financial Reporting department updated.
* Supporting the general administration of claims, including but not limited to organising & maintaining electronic claims records and ensuring filing system is always up to date
* Assisting the department post-renewal with archiving and distributing documentation.
* Liaising with various internal and external departments, such as accounting departments aiming to collate documentation
* Maintaining and updating department databases.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* A University degree in a relevant field of studies
* Up to 2 years’ experience in a relevant position - experience in the shipping industry will be considered an asset
* Excellent command in written and spoken English
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Organizational skills and attention to detail
* Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
* Ability to work within tight deadline.
* Analytical and numerical skills.
* Team player.
