We are actively recruiting an experienced Theatre Manager to lead our dynamic Theatre team.
As an effective, compassionate, and visible leader, you will support the theatre department both administratively (budgets and targets) and clinically to promote and ensure the delivery of the highest quality patient perioperative care.
Working closely with the Surgical Services Manager and Chief Nursing Officer, you will be responsible for managing theatre lists and workforce, and providing strategic and operational direction to develop the department's business; plan new services; and introduce new technologies as needed.
Skills and experience
Qualified practitioner with current registration with NMC or HCPC
Previous leadership and influencing skills with the ability to motivate and enthuse individuals/teams
Proven experience in a leadership role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate workload effectively, responding to the needs of the department and hospital
Ability to set, implement, and evaluate standards of evidence-based practice
Experience in clinical governance within the perioperative setting
Change management skills
Excellent IT skills
