Role Description
This is a non-office-based role focused on ensuring factory and legal quality standards, as specified in the Quality Management System (QMS). Responsibilities include:
1. Providing technical information and advice to Process Control Operators.
2. Monitoring raw material quality through analysis, recording results, and supporting the raw material intake process.
3. Reviewing products throughout the production flow to ensure quality.
4. Understanding equipment operating standards and functionality.
5. Communicating knowledge of ingredients and plant functionality to optimize output, improve quality, and meet efficiency targets.
6. Ensuring all product testing is conducted as scheduled, accurately, and according to QMS procedures.
7. Carrying out seam checks as scheduled and as required by regulations, company, or site procedures.
8. Monitoring CCP compliance as per HACCP plans.
9. Advising on quality attributes, standards of food processing, CCPs, and processed product quality.
10. Conducting audits and compliance monitoring.
11. Performing other duties necessary to provide quality assurance and support the QA team.
Role Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
* Knowledge of food testing, food processing, and manufacturing principles.
* Understanding of HACCP principles.
Skills required include:
* Internal auditing skills.
* Proficiency in IT.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competencies include:
* Basic food hygiene.
