We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of yoga practices and philosophies, along with the ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students of all levels. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about promoting physical and mental well-being through yoga.
Duties
* Conduct engaging and safe yoga classes for individuals of varying skill levels, ensuring modifications are offered as needed.
* Develop class plans that incorporate various styles of yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa, or Yin, tailored to the needs of participants.
* Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages students to explore their practice and achieve personal growth.
* Provide guidance on proper alignment and techniques to enhance students' understanding and performance.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the studio space before and after classes.
* Stay updated on industry trends, continuing education opportunities, and new teaching methodologies to enhance personal skills.
* Build strong relationships with students, offering support and encouragement both in and out of class.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of yoga principles, poses, and breathing techniques.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey instructions clearly and effectively.
* Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
* Experience in teaching various styles of yoga is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
* Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy and understanding towards students' needs.
* Certification from a recognised yoga teacher training programme is required.
