The role we have on offer is a rotational position and will involve working within the pharmacy stores, procurement & distribution and Dispensary.
Providing a pharmacy ward top-up service to allocated ward(s) and receiving stock from suppliers within the pharmacy store.
You will assist in the delivery and collection of pharmacy items to and from wards and departments.
Within the Dispensary you will dispense prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients, as well as greeting patients and staff at our reception. The reception area is a busy, dynamic environment where you will be able to use all your communication skills to their full potential.
Previous Pharmacy experience is desirable but not necessary as training will be given in all aspects of the job, including use of the computer system.
You will also be expected to attain the NVQ Level 2 within 12 months of taking up the post. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with good time management and organisational skills.

* 5 GCSE A to C grade or equivalent
Experience
* Previous experience of working in hospital or community pharmacy
Skills and Personal Attributes
* Able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written
* Be computer literate, being able to use Microsoft Office and have basic keyboard skills
* Undertake all manual handling duties
* Well Organised
