Responsibilities
* Develop, test, and optimise CNC programmes for milling machines
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate programme creation.
* Set up CNC machines, including selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures, ensuring proper calibration and safety compliance.
* Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to programmes or machine settings.
* Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
* Maintain detailed records of programme versions, modifications, and machine performance data.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
* CNC Milling (3‑Axis)
* Programming, setting, and operating (May consider skilled Setter Operators)
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensions and tolerances.
* Experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks and familiarity with CAM software is advantageous.
* Positive attitude with a focus on safety, reliability, and organization.
