About Us:
MadiganGill is a leading recruitment agency specialising in the construction and engineering sectors. We are currently seeking a skilled 360 Operator to join a major project in Didcot, Oxford, starting at the beginning of February. This role is initially a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension as the project progresses through different phases, potentially lasting up to 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a 360 Excavator for a variety of tasks, including excavation, trenching, and lifting operations.
* Carry out groundwork duties, including digging, grading, and site preparation.
* Work closely with site managers and groundworks teams to ensure all activities are carried out efficiently and according to project plans.
* Perform daily inspections of the 360 excavator to ensure it is in safe working condition.
* Maintain high safety standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Assist with other general groundworks tasks as required on-site.
* Complete site reports, record machinery usage, and any issues encountered during operations.
* Ensure materials are handled correctly and in a safe manner during excavation and lifting tasks.

Key Requirements:
* Proven experience operating a 360 Excavator (essential).
* Valid 360 Excavator CPCS/NPORS (or equivalent) ticket is a must.
* A valid CSCS card is required.
* Previous experience in groundworks or similar construction roles.
* Strong understanding of construction site safety and regulations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* Good communication skills for reporting and liaising with other site teams.
* A valid driving license is an advantage.
