Data Analyst – Hampshire – Onsite – up to £45,000
I’m working with a fast-growing tech business based in Portsmouth that are building out their data function, and they’re looking for a Data Analyst to join them.
The company are scaling globally (already over 1 million users across US, Canada & Australia, with EU expansion planned), and this role sits right at the heart of the business working closely with the leadership team and impacting a large proportion of their revenue.
This is a hands-on Data Analyst position focused on working with large datasets to drive real business decisions particularly around subscription revenue, retention, and billing optimisation.
Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations to track KPIs
* Analyse large datasets using SQL and BigQuery
* Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
* Identify trends, gaps and inefficiencies in data and processes
* Investigate billing, renewal and subscription performance issues
* Recommend improvements to optimise revenue and retention
* Collaborate with teams such as Finance and Marketing
* Support improvements in how data is captured and used across the business
What they’re looking for:
* Around 3+ years’ experience in a hands-on Data Analyst role
* Experience in SaaS/Subscription based environment
* Working with recurring revenue for performance
* Strong experience with SQL and BigQuery (essential)
* Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
* Experience working with large datasets
* Ability to think both analytically and commercially
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
