Azure Integration Developer | Global Enterprise Technology Organisation | London
We’re partnering with a global, high‑performing organisation currently modernising and scaling its cloud integration and API platform across international markets. As part of a wider digital transformation, the business is investing heavily in event‑driven architecture, cloud‑native integration, and platform reliability on Microsoft Azure.
You’ll join a central integration and platform team made up of experienced engineers, architects, and cloud specialists. The team works cross‑functionally with product, data, and domain teams to deliver shared platforms used globally. This is a role with genuine influence, your work will be widely adopted, long‑lived, and foundational to how the organisation operates.
Role:
* Design and build cloud‑native integration solutions on Azure using Functions, Event Grid, and Azure Integration Services.
* Architect and operate event‑driven, asynchronous messaging systems using Azure Service Bus at scale.
* Own and evolve Azure API Management as the API gateway, covering security, traffic control, policies, and governance.
* Apply SRE principles to integration platforms, including automation, monitoring, reliability engineering, and incident readiness.
* Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to set integration standards, patterns, and best practices across the organisation.
Skills Needed:
* Strong software engineering experience with C#/.NET (and supporting scripting where required).
* Deep hands‑on experience with Azure integration and messaging services, particularly Azure Service Bus.
* Solid experience operating production APIs using Azure API Management.
* Strong understanding of event‑driven architecture, integration patterns, and distributed systems.
* An SRE or operational mindset, you care about reliability, observability, and running systems at scale.
* Experience with cloud security, identity, and governance in Azure environments.
* Comfort working in complex, multi‑team environments with real production ownership.
* Experience automating deployments and infrastructure using ARM, Bicep, or similar IaC tools.
This role is ideal for a senior engineer who wants to shape integration foundations, not just deliver individual features. If you’re motivated by building reliable systems that power global platforms and by owning what you put into production we’d love to hear from you.
