We are partnering with a top International law firm who are seeking a qualified lawyer with 3–5 years' post-qualification experience to join their Competition, EU, and Trade (CEUT) team in one of their UK offices.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in public procurement law, with a solid understanding of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, and the Procurement Act 2023.
Familiarity with UK subsidy control and EU State aid law is preferred, and the successful applicant should be keen to expand their knowledge in these areas. The role will involve work across procurement, subsidy control, State aid, and trade law.
We’re looking for someone with strong research capabilities and the ability to provide pragmatic, risk-based legal advice in complex areas. Commercial awareness, a proactive approach to business development, and an interest in innovation are important.
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills are essential, along with a strong academic background and a client-focused mindset.
Role requirements:
* Must be a qualified lawyer with at least 3 years' PQE
* Must have prior experience in public procurement law and state law
* Must be a team player with excellent attention to detail
This role can be based out of any of the firm's UK offices including London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and more.
