Role: Project Manager
Location: Knutsford, Parkgate Industrial Estate
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our manufacturing team in Knutsford. This is an exciting time to join the fastest growing and most successful family-owned valve manufacturer in the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing
The role is fully accountable to the Head of Projects and for managing all aspects of each project order from receipt of customer order through to shipment of goods and deliverable documentation in order to fully satisfy our customer requirements for specific major projects. This will involve:
* Confirm full understanding of project specifications, technical requirements, and delivery expectations, closing out all clarifications with the client
* Submit and gain approval of all front-end and project documentation on time
* Develop, maintain, and regularly review milestone-based project schedules
* Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep activities within three days of plan
* Coordinate across departments and suppliers to prioritise actions and meet due dates
* Provide regular, professional progress updates to customers and stakeholders
* Manage production schedules, logistics, transport, and supplier expediting to keep projects on track
* Participate in customer and supplier meetings and visits as required
* Ensure all project documentation remains accurate and compliant
* Control and report project costs, achieving >98% on-time delivery against customer PO dates
What You’ll Bring
* Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills
* Solid understanding of MRP principles and ERP systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project (or equivalent), and engineering drawings
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently to tight deadlines
* Customer-focused with a commitment to continuous improvement and effective stakeholder engagement
* A professional qualification (CIPS/PRINCE) or relevant experience
* Experience of a component manufacturing environment
* Engineering qualification
