Background working in an accountancy practice
Proven experience of working on statutory audit assignments at audit senior level and leading on site audit teams
Experience of preparing/reviewing statutory financial statements including disclosure requirements
Experience of planning audit assignments including carrying out risk assessments
Ability to manage projects and teams and to work to tight deadlines
A good working knowledge of FRS102 (including disclosure requirements), applicable company law and International Standards of Auditing (UK)
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
Must be eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions
Must be available to work at both firm and client premises
Desirable Criteria
Experience in the preparation of company accounts from client accounting records
Experience in the use of preparing financial statements using an accounts production software package
