This post is a Senior Clinical Fellow working within the Medicine Division.
Clinical duties and responsibilities
· Clinical assessment and management of the whole range of patients across acute medicine
· Perform ward rounds with junior support
· Manage high acuity patients in ECU
· Independently manage patients with on site consultant supervision
Clinical duties and responsibilities: SDEC
Clinical assessment and management of the whole range of patients presenting to SDEC
· Support more junior trainees/PAs/ACPs
· Make independent discharge decisions and follow up arrangements
· Manage the majority of SDEC patients independently, with consultant support for more complex cases

There are c 70-100 Acute Medical attendances per day from both Primary Care and the Emergency Department.
