Job Summary
Senior Support Worker to lead a 3‑bed home for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Provide therapeutic support to young people to reach their full potential, ensure their safety, and promote positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of support workers in delivering care to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
* Deliver therapeutic interventions and support to young people in line with child‑centred, therapeutic models.
* Ensure health and safety, safeguarding and welfare of children under care.
* Cooperate with external agencies, families and professionals to provide coordinated support.
* Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and appraisal sessions.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum of 12 months experience or knowledge of child‑centred, therapeutic models.
* Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People.
* High resilience, passion, hands‑on attitude.
* Flexible to cover long day shifts, weekends and sleeps.
* Driving licence required.
