Power BI Specialist
We are currently recruiting for a Power BI Specialist to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contact.
Inside IR35
5 days a week onsite in Ipswich
Responsibilities:
Extensive experience of Power BI is essential
1. Familiarity / skills across the full stack of Microsoft data tools (SSIS, SSRS, Azure SQL, SQL Server) required. Also VBA experience would be desirable
2. Insurance knowledge desirable but not essential
3. Design and deliver enterprise scalable integration solutions involving internal and third party systems
4. Support, maintenance and enhancement of existing Power BI solutions
5. Designs will ensure that solutions are modelled logically, consistently and intuitively, ensuring that they perform optimally within agreed tolerances.
6. Peer review of code from development team members and third-party providers, with a focus on maintainability and performance.
7. Ensure solutions are built to best practices and patterns for application development and integration.
8. Working with DevOps and Service Managers to provide active management of the continuous integration/continuous deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
9. Insurance/ Financial services experience
