Salary:Enhanced MPS/UPS £38,836 - £60,154 per annum (inner London) + TLR 2
Contract: Permanent, full-time

Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary academy in Lewisham, inner London, looking for a Head of Design and Technology.
In this role you will lead a small Design and Technology team and grow the school's DT curriculum offering from KS3 to KS4 and eventually to KS5. This job could suit an experienced DT teacher ready to take on a Head of Department role.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:
1. Qualified teacher status (QTS)
2. Good honours degree in a Design and Technology subject
3. Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4 (Resistant Materials, 3D Graphics, Product Design or Food Technology)
4. An outstanding classroom practitioner with an excellent track record of progress and results
