Description About Us We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join our committed finance team. About the Role The Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial records and reports, supporting the Finance Manager with high-quality financial analysis and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory obligations. You will also play a key role in maintaining robust accounting processes, managing aged care financial operations including RADs and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our finance systems. Key Responsibilities Maintain financial accounts in line with accounting standards and organisational policies Manage accounting processes for RADs, client/resident billing and regulatory reporting Prepare and lodge BAS, FBT and other statutory financial reports Reconcile accounts accurately and in a timely manner Assist with budgeting, forecasting and preparation of financial statements Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding finance matters Uphold privacy and confidentiality of consumer and business information Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and internal audits Ensure compliance with MannaCare policies, Aged Care legislation and OHS obligations About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field CA or CPA qualification (or working towards it – preferred) Proven experience in financial accounting, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Knowledge of aged care funding and community sector programs (e.g., NDIS, HCP) is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to respond to enquiries professionally and promptly Proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving Commitment to upholding confidentiality, compliance and ethical standards Desirable: Experience with not-for-profit accounting and sector-specific standards Previous experience in community services or aged care finance teams Why Join Us?
