Commercial Manager (maternity cover)
Reports to: Head of Commercial UK
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday hybrid-working with some travel to London-based customer sites
Salary: £49,000 to £55,000 plus company pension, incentive scheme and benefits

* Own the day-to-day performance of key national customer accounts, delivering sales, margin, and KPI targets.
* Build strong, trusted relationships with customer contacts across buying, supply chain, technical, and finance.
* Deliver joint business plans, proactively identifying risks and opportunities and taking action.
* Stay close to the numbers—using data and insight to guide decisions and drive performance.
* Support category reviews, product launches, range changes, and promotions with strong execution.
* Work cross-functionally with category, innovation, operations, and finance to meet customer needs.
* Grow your commercial capability, taking on increasing ownership and complexity over time.

* Have experience in a commercial, customer-facing role within FMCG, fresh food, or a retail-facing business.
* Understand core commercial metrics like sales, margin, and forecasting—and enjoy working with data.
