Job Title: KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Hertfordshire, Bishop's Stortford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: 1. Provide tailored English and Maths tuition to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). 2. Develop and deliver individualised learning plans to support students in reaching their academic goals. 3. Conduct assessments to identify students' learning needs and track their progress over time. 4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development. 5. Maintain accurate records of student progress and feedback to relevant stakeholders. Required Qualifications: - A relevant teaching qualification - Experience working with students with SEN - Knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: - Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs Preferred Qualifications: - Additional training in SEN support - Experience working in a school or educational outreach setting Working Conditions: - Part-time hours, temporary contract - Work at learners homes, local libraries or schools All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
