Shift pattern: Monday to Friday - 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00 alternating
Job Purpose
To efficiently operate, maintain, and manage heavy-duty mixing machinery while ensuring seamless workflow in a high-pressure production environment. The role demands exceptional physical capability, technical problem-solving skills, and teamwork to meet stringent production targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Operation & Maintenance:
o Safely assemble, dismantle, operate, and troubleshoot industrial mixing machinery.
o Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
o Adhere to strict operational protocols and safety guidelines.
2. Material Handling:
o Decant 15kg baskets of raw materials throughout the shift.
o Manually push tubs weighing 180–200 kg
o Ensure accurate material measurement and mixing ratios.
3. Workflow Management:
o Maintain consistent output in a fast-paced environment to meet daily production quotas.
o Monitor mixing processes, adjusting parameters as needed to ensure product quality.
o Document batch records and maintain cleanliness in the mixing area.
4. Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with experienced production staff to resolve operational challenges.
Physical Demands
* Heavy lifting (lifting up to 25kg baskets) and pushing loads of 180–200 kg.
* Standing for 90% of the shift with frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
* Operating in environments with moderate noise and cold.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Physical Capability: Demonstrated ability to handle heavy manual tasks repetitively.
* Technical Aptitude: Experience operating industrial machinery; mechanical assembly skills preferred.
* Stress Resilience: Thrives under pressure with minimal supervision.
* Problem-Solving: Quickly identifies and resolves operational bottlenecks.
* Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a skilled team.
* Experience: Prior work in manufacturing, warehousing, or similar physically demanding roles
