At H2O Swimming Academy, we are committed to delivering fun, high-quality swimming lessons for children and adults across Northern Ireland and England. Following recent growth and expansion, we now have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and dedicated Swimming Co-ordinator to join our team.
We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for the swimming and leisure industry who can help us maintain the high standards within our swim school while supporting further growth. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, enthusiastic, innovative, and an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
This is a self-employed position, working approximately 20 hours per week at £12.21 per hour. Hours are not capped at 20 per week and may occasionally exceed this depending on business needs.
Typical weekly hours:
* Monday: approx. 5 hours
* Tuesday: approx. 3 hours (afternoon)
* Wednesday: approx. 3 hours (afternoon)
* Thursday: approx. 3 hours (afternoon)
* Friday: approx. 4.5 hours
* Occasional weekend cover when needed (agreed in advance with the Operations Manager)
As the business continues to grow, there may be opportunities for additional hours and career progression.
The role is mainly remote, but some travel to our sites in Antrim and Ballymena may be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer enquiries by email and social media within agreed timeframes.
* Use the booking system to process customer requests promptly.
* Monitor payments to ensure they are received on time.
* Manage class bookings to optimise utilisation.
* Support promotion of the business via social media.
* Run reports and ensure instructors are completing registers and updating student performance records.
* Deliver the highest standard of service to H2O customers.
* Travel to academy sites when required.

Essential Experience & Skills
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative role.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to take responsibility for mistakes and learn from them.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong customer service background.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong time-management and organisational skills.
* Proactive problem-solving ability.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and social media platforms.
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience in the leisure or swimming industry.
* Swimming teacher qualification.
