We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC communications team as Senior Manager, Internal Communication. In this role, you’ll ensure that colleagues across the organisation are consistently informed, engaged, and aligned with the Club’s direction and values.You’ll work closely with Executive Committee, senior leaders and our people and culture teams, guiding and supporting internal messaging to help shape the strong organisational culture .Your work will involve managing key communications projects, prioritising Club-wide messages for maximum impact, and ensuring colleagues understand the club’s goals, their role in our success, and feel g connected to the Club and its activities. This role requires a proactive approach, leading the internal communications agenda and ensuring a joined-up approach to all Club-wide communications activity. Working hand in hand with key internal stakeholders, you will help to promote Club values, enhance leadership visibility, and ensure the right channels are in place to deliver consistent, engaging content that complements our external messaging.You’ll also play a key role in fostering a culture of feedback and continuous improvement with the ability to lead in both digital and traditional communication channels. What will you be doing? · Lead the development and delivery of an internal communications and engagement strategy that reflects the Club’s strategic vision and seasonal priorities. · Build trusted relationships across all departments and levels to ensure alignment and understanding of Club-wide initiatives. · Influence high-level projects by connecting ideas, teams, and messaging to deliver impactful outcomes, often under tight deadlines. · Navigate a complex, multi-site organisation to deliver consistent and engaging communications across hybrid and on-site teams. · Collaborate with teams to highlight partner success stories and drive awareness and engagement. · Support people -led initiatives to communicate change and enhance our employer value proposition. · Advise and support the CEO and Executive Committee on messaging and channels to increase visibility and engagement. · Oversee an Internal Communications Executive, ensuring effective day-to-day creative delivery of the internal communications strategy. · Manage the internal communications budget to ensure value for money and impactful experiences. · Work closely with IT and technical teams to optimise digital platforms, ensuring they support colleague connection and engagement. Who are we looking for? We’re seeking an experienced internal communications professional with a degree (or equivalent) in Communications and a strong grasp of internal communications principles, including excellent writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.You’ll bring proven experience in managing complex internal communications strategies within large, people-focused organisations, and be confident distilling complex information into clear, engaging plans tailored to a diverse internal audience.Skilled in stakeholder management, you’ll work cross-functionally across all levels of the business, including the CEO and Executive Committee, to deliver impactful messaging.You’ll bring new ideas to drive colleague engagement and knowledge sharing with the ability to lead and influence projects and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. You’ll be proactive and organised, with strong planning and coordination skills, and a talent for identifying innovative solutions that enhance colleague understanding and connection.The role also involves planning and delivering key business events, managing budgets, and leveraging digital platforms to support internal communication campaigns.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, intranet platforms, and a solid understanding of wider communications, PR principles and IT platforms is required to succeed in this role.
