Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fire and Security Service Engineer, based in Henley-on-Thames with the option to work from home for part of the time. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing fire and security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications. The engineer will also be responsible for conducting routine inspections, creating reports, and providing exceptional customer service. Collaboration with the internal design team and project stakeholders may also be required to ensure bespoke solutions are implemented successfully.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
* Knowledge of industry standards, including BAFE SP203 and SSAIB certifications.
* Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills in fire and security systems.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and interact effectively with clients.
* Ability to manage time effectively, work on multiple projects, and meet deadlines and project requirements.
* Experience in customer support and providing tailored solutions for varying client needs.
* Relevant certifications or training in fire and security system engineering are highly desirable.
* Familiarity with hybrid work environments and ability to work both on-site and remotely as required.
* Valid driving license and willingness to travel when necessary.
