REED is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in North Cambridgeshire to recruit a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting this September.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Music Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced department. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5 depending on experience), helping students develop both their practical and theoretical musical skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons that engage and motivate students
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Contribute to extracurricular activities such as school concerts, productions, and clubs
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A strong subject knowledge and passion for music education
* Experience teaching music at secondary level
* The ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
